Vanderhoof, Mr. and Mrs. Albert (45th Anniversary - 1948)
 
 
45th Wedding Anniversary
 
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Vanderhoof celebrated their 45th Wedding Anniversary at their home in spencer on Saturday, December 4th with a dinner for relatives and friends.
 
The centerpiece for the table was a large bouquet of flowers and a large wedding cake.
 
Mr. and Mrs. Vanderhoof resided in the Town of Sherman for 43 years. They purchased a home in Spencer two years ago where they moved and now reside. Their youngest daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bymers, now reisde on the home farm.
 
There are two daughters, Mrs. Ed. Voelker and Mrs. Paul Bymers, both who reside on farms near Spencer, and four grandchildren. One grandson, Carrol Voelker, who is in the Navy, resides at San Diego, Calif.
 
The following were Saturday guests: Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bymers and son Roger, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Voelker and daughters Iris and Barbara, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Plath and son Junior, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hoops and son Verland, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Huber and sons, Mrs. Elizabeth Hoops and son Wilbur, Mrs. Laura Brockopp, John Why, Mrs. Anelin Mueller, Mrs. Anna Fredricks, Mrs. Emma Krebs, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell McIlhattan, Mrs. Geo. Schwantes, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kommers, all of Spencer, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Matins, Freemont; Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Rose and daughter Maryles, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stradle and family of Wayside, Mr. and Mrs. George Krasselt, Mr. and Mrs. Siegert Krasselt and daughters of Veefkind.
 
The neighbors of their old neighborhood surprised them the previous Sunday.
 
A grand time was enjoyed by all and the honored couple received many nice gifts and a purse of money.
 
The Record joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for many more years of happy wedded life.
