Wittke, Henry E. (1888 - 22 July 1969)

Funeral services for Henry E. Wittke, 81, who died July 22, were held Friday at 1:30 p.m., from the Georgas Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jacob Grether officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Alfred Kleckner, W. H. Allen, Richard Karl, H. L. Trewartha, Albert Holt and Donald W. Johnson. Ellis Wall sang, “Beyond the Sunset” and “The Old Rugged Cross” accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott at the organ.

Those from out-of-town attending included: Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Wilson and Mrs. Mary Blackseth of Eau Claire; Mrs. Marian Wittke, Zachary Wittke, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Olson, and Mr. and Mrs. Harris Anderson of Black River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Schultz and family of Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Willms, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Parrett and family of West Allis; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Reichert of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wittke of Cedar Rapids, Ia., Roy Beckman of Merrillan; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Parrett, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ratsch and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Garbisch of Granton.
