Mrs. Ida Pease was a guest at the Fulwiler home last Wednesday.

John Begley underwent an operation at the Neillsville Hospital last Thursday and so far as we are able to ascertain he is doing nicely. His sister-in-law, Mrs. Howard Begley, had a similar operation in the same hospital the previous week.

Dan Rausch was observed on our street last Friday with a nice new Ford car.

A program will be rendered in the schoolhouse Friday night by Miss Anderson's school.

Frank Greeler was at Neillsville Friday on business connected with the Milk Producer's Association. A number from here attend the meeting on Saturday.

Ruth Vandeberg and Bertha Diercks spent Friday evening with Violet Fulwiler.

Mr. and Mrs. Dan Timerson were at Spokeville last Thursday to attend the funeral of their cousin Alvin Timerson.

Mrs. Martin O'Brien visited with her daughter Mrs. Fanny Krejci last Saturday.

Miss Gladys Parrett is helping Mrs. Ed Northup with the work this week.

E.J. Heck is assisting Will Diercks with moving on the Ben Harper farm which was purchased recently by F. Zickert.

Forest Rowe came over from York Center Monday and assisted with the butchering at Ferndale farm. His wife, daughter, father and mother came along and visited during the time.

Violet Fulwiler spent Sunday night with her cousin Verla Rowe.

The spring like weather we are having now is much more appreciated than the hurried winter of the week previous.

Mrs. Frank Kopecky enjoyed a nice exercise Saturday morning, chasing after their colts that had broken out of their enclosure and seemed to enjoy their freedom very much.
