Waldhart, Vaughn F. (29 JUN 1926 - 27 MAY 2013)

Vaughn F. Waldhart, 86, Ogema, died on Monday, May 27 at Deerview Meadows Assisted Living in Medford.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 31 at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Ogema, with Rev. Dr. Bob Giese officiating.

Interment will be at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Stetsonville at 2 p.m., with military rites performed by the Stetsonville American Legion Military Honors Team. Pallbearers are Seth Callaway, Casey Waldhart, Landon, Colton Eric and Kyle Cummings and Justin Heizler.

Visitation will be held at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford on Thursday, May 30 from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Liberty elementary school, Town of Little Black and attended Dorchester High School

June 1, 1950 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Stetsonville to Sylvia Mae (Koch), she preceded him in death November 11, 1981

2nd MARRIAGE:
Aug. 4, 1989 at Phillips to Helen J. (Pearson) Cummings, she survives

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE:
US Army veteran of WW II serving in the European Theater from 1944 to 1945. After the service, he drove gravel, logging and gas truck from 1946 to 1950. He purchased a milk route in 1950 and operated it for 16 years, during which time he also operated a dairy farm south of Stetsonville on Hwy. 13 in the Town of Deer Creek. He later sold the milk route and purchased a US Star Mail route in 1966. After his 2nd marriage, they resided in Town of Ogema where he enjoyed making maple syrup, puttering in the woods, fishing, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
