Dennis L. Rau, 55, of Medford, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Hemer Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

He was born July 24, 1945, in the town of Goodrich to John F. Sr. and Myrtle (Stibbe) Rau. He was employed for 32yearsas an auditor in the State of Wisconsin’s department of revenue, retiring in September 2000.

He is survived by his mother, Myrtle Rau of Medford; two sisters, Stella (Donald) Wright and Lynn (Craig) Glamann, all of Medford; and three brothers, Leon (Karen) Rau of Medford, Edwin Rau of Athens, Lawrence(Marilyn) Rau of Star Prairie.
