Krause, Carol Anne (Marriage - 27 September 1969)

Miss Carol Anne Krause daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Soloman F. Krause of Rt. 1 Curtiss and Robert Duane Lindau, son of George F. Lindau, were united in marriage during a double-ring ceremony at St. Paul’s American Lutheran Church in Curtiss at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Roger Tellock officiated before the 275 guests assembled.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a floor-length gown of white satin with an over-bodice of lace. White lace panels and a lace-edged, sweeping train completed the gown. An elbow-length illusion veil fell from a headpiece fashioned with pearl encrusted white lace in petal shaped tiers. She carried a cascade of red roses with an extending portion holding small red rose buds.

Miss Cheryl Hillman of Marshfield was maid-of-honor. Mrs. Gregory Krause of Prentice and Mrs. Neil Krause of Owen served as bridesmaids. They wore floor-length gowns of sea-blue faille. Cranberry ribbon was laced under each bodice, forming a front bow with streamers falling to the floor. A double floor-length veil was attached to each double bow headpiece. Each attendant carried a cascade of white spider ‘mums, including some blue tinted ones.

Thomas Lindau of Curtiss was bestman. Gregory Krause of Prentice and Neil Krause of Owen were groomsmen. David Lindau of Bruce and Victor (ink blotch) of Ladysmith ushered.

Miss Rhonda (ink blotch) provided organ music and Bryce Klocken was the soloist.

A reception was held at the Abbotsford city hall, with 275 guests attending. A dinner, followed by a dance was held in the evening at the Colby Hotel.

The bride attended Taylor County Teachers College and Wisconsin State University-Stevens Point. She is an elementary teacher in the Marshfield school system. The groom attended Wausau Technical Institute and is a patrolman for the Marshfield police department.

Mr. and Mrs. Lindau will reside in Marshfield.
