Humbird (4 December 1969)

Mr. and Mrs. William Duxbury and William, Jr., spent Thanksgiving Day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Belschak, in Beloit.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Johnson of Taylor entertained Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson and family Sunday in honor of her birthday. Mr. and Mrs. George Zuehlke of Loyal also were present.

Lowell Shotswell came home Saturday from his sister’s home in Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Barr spent Thanksgiving Day with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Williams.

Mr. and Mrs. Herb Adler spent Thanksgiving Day with their daughter, Mrs. Eddie Kenneburg, and her husband in Rockford, Ill. Friday they were guests of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Adler, in Round Lake, Ill. Saturday they drove to Wildwood, Ill., to visit another son, Mr. and Mrs. Cyrell Adler. In the evening they attended the wedding of their granddaughter, Donna Howard of Campbellsport, to Willard Peterson. They returned home Sunday.

Mike Kirby of St. Paul spent last weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Kirby.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson and family were Thanksgiving Day dinner guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Zuehlke, in Loyal. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. George Zuehlke, Jr., and little daughter of Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Johnson of Taylor.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Laffe were Thanksgiving Day dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Ida Wold in rural Black River Falls. Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Wold, John and Gordon, of Disco, also were present.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Fitzmaurice and family of Augusta spent Thanksgiving Day with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Fitzmaurice.
