Washburn (15 January 1970)

Mr. and Mrs. Murry Lindsey of Sheboygan called Sunday at the Ragner Mortenson home. They had been in Eau Claire for the weekend. They lived in this vicinity several years ago. They also saw several of their old friends at the Shortville store.

Larry Von Gnection of Wausau called last week Wednesday at the Irving Stevens home.

Dale Reinart, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Reinart who is on the junior board of directors of the Clark County REA, accompanied Dave Krutsch to the monthly meeting in Greenwood Saturday.

Mary and Dianne Spiegel, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Spiegel, helped Mrs. Chris Feutz celebrate her birthday Saturday.

Lawrence Junchen of Sherrard, Ill., and Elmira Junchen of Menasha, spent the holidays with their brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Junchen.

Mrs. Oliver Williams was a patient At Neillsville Memorial Hospital since last week Tuesday with a case of flu.

Mr and Mrs. Jim Faye and daughter of Sherwood called Sunday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Art Odell.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Wren and family of West Bend spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mortenson and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wren.

Carla Cassem, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Cassem, and Mrs. Zelaney were patients at Neillsville Memorial Hospital a few days last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Myron Turner of Eagle River, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Forrester of Fond du Lac, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schultz and family of Racine and Ted Schultz of Wind Lake spent the weekend at the Mrs. Henry Hubing home. Mrs. Hubing has been a patient at Memorial Hospital for the past week or 10 days. Her daughter, Mrs. Ted Schultz who spent a week at the Hubing home, returned home Sunday with her husband and Mr and Mrs. Richard Schultz.

Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Mashin and sons of Tomah spent the weekend at the Oliver Williams and Al Mashin homes.

Carol Duran of Stratford visited Saturday evening at the home of Mrs. Wanda Pretsch.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Short were dinner guests Sunday at the Art Short home.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schultz and family of Racine were supper guests Saturday of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John Reinart and family.

Ervin Taylor and daughters, Peggy and Betty, and Mrs. Nettie Smock of Black River Falls were dinner and supper guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Havlicek, Sr.
