Vajgrt, Julie Anne (28 AUG 1965)

Flowers decorated the altar of St. Anthony’s church, Loyal for the wedding of a Loyal couple, Miss Julie Anne Vajgrt, daughter of Mrs. Marie Vajgrt and the late Frank Vajgrt and Raymond Gene Feldt, son, of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Feldt, Loyal.

The Rev. Norbert E. King officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, August 28 and the church organist provided the music.

The bride chose for her wedding a slim sheath gown of white nylon organza and taffeta, trimmed with Swiss imported rose lace and sequins.  The gown featured a bateau neckline and long tapered sleeves.  From the empire styled waist line extended the long slim sheath skirt held by a large organza bow at the back of the waist, a detachable Watteau cathedral train completed the ensemble.  A stand up crown fashioned of Swiss lace adorned with rhinestones and pearls held the bouffant three tier veil of bridal illusion.  Stephanotis and ivy surrounding a large white orchid formed the bridal bouquet.

Powder blue floor length gowns of peau de soie were worn by the bridal aides.  Mrs. Erlin Roehl, Milwaukee, as the matron of honor and Mrs. Raymond Knudsen, Woodstock, Illinois and Mrs. Russell Haslow, Marshfield, the bridesmaids.

The dresses had bateau necklines and “A” line skirts.  Coquette blue accented the empire waistlines and the same color formed the tier Watteau panels in back, which were accented by large bows.  Powder blue peau de soie open crown pill box hats with bow trim and drop pearl and bouffant veils formed the headpieces.  Cascades of stephanotis and blue carnations with green leaves complemented the dresses.

John Theisen, Minot, North Dakota served as the groom’s best man and Roger Feldt, Madison and Russell Haslow, Marshfield, the groomsmen.

Richard Feldt, Crystal Lake, Illinois and Erlin Roehl, Milwaukee ushered the guests coming from Port Washington, Madison, Milwaukee, Loyal and the surrounding area, Woodstock, Crystal Lake and Harvard, Illinois; Detroit, Michigan and Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The wedding reception was held at the groom’s parents home followed by a supper at the church hall and a dance at the Silver Dom that evening.

The young couple are both 1963 graduates of Loyal High School. The bride attended Wisconsin State University of Eau Claire and is employed at Citizen State Bank of Loyal.  The groom attended DeVry Technical Institute of Chicago and is engaged in farming on route 2, Loyal.  After a western wedding trip the couple will be home to friends on route 2, Loyal.
