Morrison, Gratia (22 JUN 1910)

The Daily (Arizona) Prescott Journal-Miner of Friday, June 24th, 1910, was handed to us last week. It contained the following article regarding the marriage of Mrs. Gratia Morrison, a former Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) girl and daughter of Robert Schofield:

"Robert E. Young, manager of the O.M. Meat Market, and Mrs. Gratia S. Morrison, popularly known to all, were married at the home of the groom on North Alarcon Street, Wednesday evening, in the presence of a few of their intimate friends. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Clyde W. Deming of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Mr. and Mrs. Young were attended by L.H. Johnson and Miss Edith E. Burt. The ring service was used. Mrs. Young is favorably known to all residents of the city, while the bride enjoys the esteem and regard of many, through her accomplishments as a musician and her charming personality. Learning of the union, a strong delegation of ladies and gentlemen repaired to their home last night to extend greetings, but for some reason they failed to respond."
