A large crowd attended the Social and Fish Pond given by the Norwegian Ladies Aid last Saturday evening. The net proceeds were about $20.

Herman Awe and sister Bertha made a business trip to Eau Claire last Friday.

Hon. S.M. Marsh of Neillsville held a meeting at the town hall Saturday evening, before the social, and discussed the various topics of the Republican platform. Mrs. Marsh, Hon. Fricke and Huntzicker, accompanied him, and they returned to Neillsville the same evening in their auto.

A number of farmers took stock to Withee last Saturday.

Julius Sorenson, O.M. Anderson and Tom Bredeson, the building committee for the Norwegian Church, transacted business in Greenwood Monday.

Some of the boys from here visited at P.C. Johnson's Sunday.
