Greely, Barbara (abt; 1879-21 Aug 1964)

Barbara Rose Greely, *5, died at Hoquian, Washington onAugust 21 after a brief illness. She was a former resident of Loyal.

Born in Bavaria, Germany, she came to the United States with her parents while still an infant and lived in Wisconsin.

She married Merrit Greely on Oct. 16, 1900, and the couple moved to North Dakota in 1913. They moved to Hoquiam in 1918. Mr. Greely died in 1929.

Mrs. Greely was a member of the Presbyterian Church inHoquiam and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a charter member of the Moose Hoquiam Chapter 400, Moose Mothers.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Frank O. (Esther) Myers of Portland, Oregon; Mrs. O. B. (Laura) Wattenberger of Jefferson, Oregon; Mrs. Charles (Sue) McConagny Olympia, Washington; Mrs. Henry (Florence) Dixon and Mrs. Charles (Louise) Gregory, both of Hoquiam; two sons, P. A. Greely of Aberdeen; and Paul A. Greely of Olympia; a brother, John Seidelmann of Tacoma, Washington; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Jake Anderegg, Loyal; and three brothers, William Seidelmann, Loyal; Mike Seidelmann, Chippewa Falls; and Henry Seidelmann, Neillsville.
