Last week A.J. Preat sold his best Guernsey bull to a man in Greenwood.  This bull was a trifle over a year old and brought him the handsome price of $125.00.

There was a special train last Saturday to Lindsey with a car of household goods, farming implements and livestock, a new settler who has located south east of Lindsey on what is known as the Zimmerman place.

The Lindsey cheese factory was opened Wednesday of this week.  It is hoped that it will not prove an April Fool, but a success and great enterprise for Lindsey.  Mr. Gotter has put everything in fine shape for the occasion, but is the milk that will determine the outcome.

At the town caucus last Saturday the same officer were re-nominated but W.J. Robinson filed nomination papers for Clerk and it is rumored that papers are to be filed for a whole new set of candidates.  Maybe there will be some excitement of the election after all.

W.J. Robinson says his family has been plaguing him all week about his “dear lamb” by simply striking the r instead of the d on the key board of the Linotype machine.

Last Tuesday Wm. Muir moved his aunt Mrs. Alex McKercher to Lindsey and she occupies the house owned by her niece, Mrs. Edna Porter, who we understand is going to live with her.
