----Klemetson, Diane Marie (7 NOV 1964

St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church in Owen was the scene of a lovely wedding at 2:00 o’clock on Saturday, November 7th, uniting Miss Diane Marie Klemetson of Curtiss and Mr. Allen Lee Dunow, Owen, in holy matrimony. The Rev. Richard Hewetson performed the nuptial ceremony before an altar adorned with white pom poms and two baskets of white gladioli.

During the ceremony Miss Julene Radlinger of Dorchester sang, “O Perfect Love,” accompanied by Susan Laabs at the organ.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Klemetson of Curtiss and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dunow of Owen.

The bride’s gown was a white floor length taffeta covered with lace tiers. It was fashioned with wrist length sleeves and full skirt, made especially for the bride by her grandmother, Mrs. Sherman Long of Curtiss and her mother. Her finger-tip veil was fastened to a crown of pearls. She carried a bouquet of red and white roses.

Judy Klemetson, the bride’s sister, served as maid of honor, and Wendy Wajner and Judy Dunow as bridesmaids. They were attired in aqua, bell-shaped gowns of floor length. The snug fitting bodices were fashioned with short sleeves accented by long white gloves. The maid of honor’s gown was a shade lighter than the bridesmaids. Their wrist corsages of white and blue carnations blended with their gowns.

Little Debbie Ridpath of Owen was the petite flower girl dressed exactly like the bride. The little ring bearer was Denny Klemetson.

Attending the groom as best man was John Kopp, and he and the groomsmen were attired in tuxedos.

The mothers of the bride and the groom were attired in blue dresses and each wore a corsage of white carnations with gold trim.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Curtiss Community Hall from 3:00 to 4:30 o’clock. Dinner was served at 5:00 in the church dining room of St. Katherine’s Church. A dance was held that evening at the Dorchester Memorial Hall. Waitresses serving the dinner were Delores Laski, Linda Frahman, Marjean Fischer and Ruth Meske.

Guests attended from Marshfield, Milwaukee, Michigan, Sherwood, Colby, Wisconsin Rapids, Iowa, Abbotsford, Tomahawk, Racine, Owen, Curtiss, Withee and Dorchester.

The newly weds will make their home in the Abbotsford Trailer Court in Abbotsford.

The bride attended the Dor-Abby High School while the groom is a graduate of the Owen-Withee High School. He is employed at the Northern Freeport Silo Company in Withee.
