HERMAN BLUNCK FINAL RITES IN MINNEAPOLIS

Services were held at Gleason Mortuary chapel in Minneapolis for Herman Blunck, age 73, who passed away at his home on Friday afternoon by Rev. John Peqterson. He was born at Thorp on July 16, 1891, and moved to the town of Longwood as a child with his parents, the late John and Dora Blunck in 1900.

He was married to Elsie Jensen on August 19, 1916, and farmed two miles south of Withee for several years. He moved to Minneapolis in 1951 where he has since resided. Mr. Blunck is survived by his wife, Elsie, daughter, Mrs. Russell (Ruth) Haire, son William, of Minneapolis, seven grandchildren, one great grandson, three brothers, John, William and Walter of Withee, two sisters, Gertrude, Owen, and Malvina, Powell, Wyo. A son, James preceded him in death in January, 1963.
