FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR EBNER GUSTAFSON

At 2:00 o’clock yesterday afternoon funeral services for Ebner Gustafson, 61, were conducted from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Goessling of the First Congregational Church, Owen, officiated. Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.

News of his death reached here late Friday night from Naperville, Ill., where he passed away at a hospital in that city.

Ebner Gustafson was born February 1, 1903, at Sherrard, Ill., and in 1909 came with his parents to a farm just east of Owen. His marriage to Clara Thess took place December 7, 1935, at Owen. The couple had farmed in this area until 1961, when he moved to Illinois.

He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Downers, Grove, Ill., and Mrs. Jack (Patricia) Miller, Lemont, Ill.; a brother, Helmer Gustafson, route 1, Owen, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
