School started Monday with Mr. Harvey Long as teacher.

Herman Prellwitz moved in on the Slaughter farm last Monday.

A.L. Clair shipped a carload of wood to Fairchild on Monday.

A.L. Clair transacted business in Fairchild Wednesday afternoon.

G.W. Bishop has the well for Henry Daughenbaugh nearly completed.

Ignac Cesnik transacted business in Greenwood both Friday and Saturday.

George Crotzer and Henry Daughenbaugh built two chimneys for Harvey Long the past week.

Thursday morning Elmer Altenbern and wife of Lena, Ill. came on a visit with relatives. Mr. Altenbern is a brother to A.C. Altenbern and Mrs. Wm. Dammeier.

The carload of lumber from Owen ordered by Daughenbaugh Bros. for their house and barn arrived Saturday noon and is being transferred to the building site on Section 23.

H.W. Decker was absent the greater part of last week, attending the session of the county board at Neillsville. He returned Monday and is now directed his men on the work on Samuel Long's house.

Adolph Dammeier of Lena, Ill., father of Wm. Dammeier, came Wednesday morning for a visit with his son. Mr. Dammeier says he see quite a change in appearance of things since his visit eighteen months ago.

Thursday morning D.S. Holsinger, wife and daughter came with their car of goods. Their car had been shipped the Friday before and they started from their home, Mt. Morris, Ill., Wednesday evening, arriving here the same time as the car, on Friday.
