Forbes, Josean "Jose" R. (15 MAR 1989 - 3 AUG 2013)

Josean "Jose" R. Forbes, 24, Rib Lake, died on Saturday, Aug. 3 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, after a lifelong battle after being born with HIV.

Simultaneous memorial services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 3 p.m. at Camp Forest Springs in Westboro, and at 4 p.m. EST at Windsor Locks Congregational Church in Windsor Locks, Conn.

Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH:
March 15, 1989 at Ponce, Puerto Rico

EDUCATION:
Windsor Locks, CT elementary and was a graduate of Windsor Locks High School; Attended Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, NY and was presently a student at Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, CT

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE:
He was presently working toward a degree in criminal justice. For the past 6 summers, he worked as a staff counselor & program assistant at Camp Forest Springs, Westboro, WI. He fought a lifelong battle after being born with HIV, finally succumb to multiple infections due to his illness. He enjoyed playing guitar, sports, and creating relationships with people.
