Miss Olga Johnson spent Sunday at Loyal.

Vern Varney was reported slightly under the weather.

Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Wollenberg were over Sunday visitors at Thorp.

Morris Anderson is home from Fond du Lac for a few days recuperation.

Mrs. Amanda Palms came over from Tioga Saturday for a few days visit.

The German Ladies' Society will meet with Mrs. Chris Braun, Friday, April 15.

Remember the old fashioned spelling school in the Woodman Hall Friday night, April 8th.

Phone have recently been installed in the homes of W.H. Palms and Harry E Hartson.

Mrs. Oscar Hansen returned to her home at Colfax this morning after spending a few days with her brother, John Dyre.

R.A. Masters has remodeled his saloon building in sjuch a manner as to have his ice box filled, hereafter, from the outside.

Miss Stella Covey of Loyal visited at the home of Mrs. Matilda Hogue Friday evening, returning home Saturday morning.

Forrest Shanks came home from Fond du Lac Friday to take in the dance and visit a few days under the parental roof.

Mrs. Schlinsog of Granton returned to her home last Monday after spending a few days with her son William of the West Side.

Gladys Cummings went up to Gilman Saturday for a short visit at the Pecity home. Mrs. Mary Ann Shanks accompanied her.

Word was recently received from Fond du Lac that Ben Johnson has been promoted to conductor. If so, "Here's luck Ben."

All the ball players were out Sunday and shot the small sphere around the grounds in quite lively shape. A game may be arranged for Sunday.

Ernest Vine returned yesterday from Poplar, Mont, where he has taken up a claim. Albert Huber also returned from the same place Saturday, having homesteaded.
