Wedding vows were exchanged at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church by Miss Nancy Milz, route 1, Loyal and David Wucherpfennig, Loyal on Saturday, April 8, at 1 p.m. The Rev. Norbert E. King officiated.

Parents of the couple are Mrs. Edward Milz, route 1, Loyal and the late Mr. MIlz; and Mrs. Reinhold Wucherpfennig, Loyal, and the late Mr. Wucherpfennig.

The bride given in marriage by her grandfather, Mr. Alfred Albertson, Cresco, Iowa, was seen in a white bridal gown and carried a bouquet of long stemmed red roses. Her shoulder length veil was attached to a pearl crown.

Mrs. James Welsh, Marshfield, served as matron of honor for her sister and Mrs. Marvin Wucherpfennig, Wisconsin Rapids, was bridesmaid.

The aides were seen in pale blue floor length gowns with matching flower head pieces. They each carried long stemmed pink roses.

The groom choose James Welsh, Marshfield, for his best man and Marvin Wucherpfennig, Wisconsin Rapids, ws groomsman.

Terry Bruns, cousin of the bride, Dewar, Iowa and Roger Hoefs, cousin of the groom, Stratford, served as ushers.

A reception was held from 2 to 4 p.m. followed by a supper at K Corners.

The bride and groom are both 1966 graduates of Loyal High School. The groom is employed at Weyerhauser and his bride at General Telephone Co.

The couple will reside at route 3, Marshfield.

Relatives attending from away included Mrs. William Bruns and Terry and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hiemerman and Gary, Waterloo, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Albertson and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shes, Cresco, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jirak and family, Wacoma, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Schmidt, Maple Park, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Custer, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hoefs and roger Hoefs, Stratford; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hoefs, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wucherpfennig, Chippewa, Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Williams and family, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wucherpfennig and Mr. and Mrs. James Bauer and family, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Wucherpfennig, Wisconsin Rapids and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Sandley and family, Spencer.

Many other relatives and friends from the Loyal area were in attendance also.
