On Pentecost Sunday, June 1, 1952, nine young people will be confirmed at the
West Side Evangelical and Reformed Church. Jerome Horn, Violet Franz, Ronnie and
Joan Metcalf, Marsha Monegar, Arlene Noah, Eileen Schwarze, Janet Schwarze and
Lorraine Timmler comprise the class. Following the rite of Confirmation, Holy
Communion will be served to the calls and to all present.
New hymnals for
the congregation, which have been purchased by the Salem ladies Aid and
individuals, will be dedicated at this service.
This joint service of the
West Side and Zion Congregations will begin at 10:00 a.m.
