Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Michels of De Pere spent from Friday until Sunday here with friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Matt Ruzic of Willard visited at the John Verschay home Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. John Francel of Willard visited at the L.J. Koschak home Sunday evening.

Mrs. George Haeuser was at Loyal last Friday and accompanied her daughter, Mrs. Myrle Hales, to Marshfield in the afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Arlan Hubert and son Steve of De Forest spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hubert.

Mr. and Mrs. Gus Grap, Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Grap attended the funeral of Albert L. Hemp, 86, at Neillsville, Monday. Mr. Hemp was a brother of Mrs. Gus Grap.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Van Keuren and daughter, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Humke, La Crosse, and Miss Ardis Raath, Stevens Point, spent the weekend at the W.A. Stewart home.

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Humke, La Crosse, Mrs. Robert Van Keuren of Madison and Mrs. W.A. Stewart visited Mrs. Theo Humke at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, on Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart and Helen were at Stanley on Sunday and helped their granddaughter Ruth Alice, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart Jr., celebrate her 6th birthday anniversary.

Buck Jepsen of Rib Lake spent the weekend at the Robert Stewart Sr. home. His wife and children, who spent the past month here with her parents, returned to Rib Lake with him.

Mr. and Mrs. Leo Zupke of Arpin and son, Pfc. Harlan Zupke, who returned a week ago from Germany, spent last week Wednesday at the W. Hubert home and helped Mr. Huber celebrate his birthday. Harlan received his honorable discharge on Monday, Jan. 26, 1953.

Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Vinger were business callers at St. Paul on Monday.

Mrs. John Verschay, Jr.. returned from Chicago Wednesday, after spending ten days visiting relatives and friends.

Gary Speich, who attends the University at Madison, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Speich.

Mmes. Lawrence Cox, Simon Wehrman, John Syth, Adolph Abel and John Kaltinger were Marshfield callers last Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Meyer and family of Cameron visited Sunday with his mother Mrs. Adolph Meyer and with ohter relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Ellingson and son David of Mauston visited his mother, Mrs. E.S. Ellingson, on Tuesday of last week.

Mr. and Mrs. David Cline of Vesper visited at the Fred Hohl home Sunday.

Mrs. Jack Fahey of Stanley visited last Wednesday at the H.M. Bergeman home.

Miss Margaret Perman, who teaches at Stanley, spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Julia Perman.

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Peterson and Frank Rajk visited Mrs. Rajk Sunday afternoon at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Many other Greenwood people also visited her.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Indgjer of Eau Claire spent Sunday at the home of his sister, Mrs. E.S. Ellingson.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Horn of Chili called on relatives and friends here Sunday.

Miss Janet Olson, who attends the University at Madison, spent from Thursday until Sunday with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Wm. Olson.

Pvt. Harold Abel of Indiantown Gap, Pa., son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Abel, flew to Madison, arriving there on Saturday. Mrs. Abel and son Albert and Wilbert Swieso, met him there and all returned to Greenwood that night. Pvt. Harold Abel returned on Tuesday to Indiantown Gap.

T.F. Schiller left Tuesday for Phoenix, Arizona to visit his wife and daughters.

Friends of Gerald Neuenfeldt will be glad to learn that he has recovered from his bout with the Chicken Pox.

Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Vinger attended the Golden Gloves tournament at Marshfield on Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hoesley and children of Marshfield and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Laken and son George, visited at the Joe Verschay home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kowieski and family visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kowieski, at Thorp on Sunday.

Mrs. Frank Rajk entered St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Friday for treatment following a heart attack.

Miss Ardis Raath of Stevens Point and Ken Stewart attended the venison supper at Withee Saturday evening, sponsored by the Rod and Gun Club.

Mr. and Mrs. Leo Bredesen were at Curtiss Sunday, where they were dinner guests at the Russell Dunn home. Their granddaughter, Lois Dunn, returned home with them for a few days visit.
