Brandt, John (1885? - 4 MAR 1953)

John Brandt, long time president of Land O' Lakes Creameries, Inc., collapsed and died of a heart attack on Wednesday night, March 4th, 1953, shortly after making a talk at Thief River Falls, Minn.

Mr. Brandt was attending a meeting of District 17 of his cooperative creamery group at Thief River Falls. He was 67 and had been president of this organization since 1922. He was also president of the National Milk Producers Federation since 1941. His headquarters were in Minneapolis and his home in suburban Edina.

Mr. Brandt was historically known as a farm cooperative leader and was a familiar figure in central Wisconsin.
