College Notes (Dean’s List - 19 February 2014)

The following students were named to the Concordia University, Mequon, fall Dean’s List (minimum 3.5 GPA) for the first semester of the 2013-2014 academic year:

Trista Hribar, SR, computer science-information tech; Tanya Tarcsay, SR, business communication

The following area students were named to Winona State University, Minnesota, Dean’s List (minimum 3.5 GPA) for the 2013 fall semester:

Owen - Brittany Bredlau, Joshua Niemi, Kirsten Shakal and Kylie Shakal; Neillsville - Caitlin Courtney and Nicholas Neville

Brooke Brekke of Neillsville was named to the fall semester 2013 Dean’s list (minimum 15 hours course work and GPA of 3.25 or better) at Appalachian State University, Boone, NC.

The following are students were named to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Dean’s List for the 2013 fall semester: Neillsville - Theodore Riese, Thorp - Ryan Lewandowski, Unity - Michelle Seefeld. (Students in the university’s various colleges must receive either a minimum 3.5 or 3.75 GPA to receive this honor.)

Mollie Duginski of Colby has earned semester honors (minimum 3.5 GPA) for the fall 2013 semester at Edgewood College, Madison. She was also named to the Dean’s list (minimum 3.75 GPA) for the fall 2013 semester.

The following area students received degrees during fall commencement at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls:

Jeremy Schiller of Loyal received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in agricultural engineering technology; Dustin Slowiak of Thorp received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in marketing communications.
