Siems, Mina May (24 October 1903 - 11 August 1971)
Funeral services for Mrs. Helmuth Siems, 67, of Port Edwards, who was dead on
arrival at Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids, at 5 a.m., August 11, were held
August 13, at 1 p.m. from the United Methodist Church at Port Edwards. The Rev.
David G. Storzer officiated and burial was made in the Port Edwards Cemetery.
Mrs. Siems, the former Mina May Westphal, was born in Clark County on
October 24, 1903, to Mr. and Mrs. William Westphal. Her marriage to Helmuth
Siems took place on July 2, 1927, at Neillsville. She was a member of the United
Methodist Church Ladies Aid.
Survivors, in addition to her husband,
include a daughter, Helen, at home; three sons, James of Port Edwards, and Floyd
and Henry, both of Wisconsin Rapids; and 17 grandchildren.
Several from
the Neillsville area attended services for Mrs. Siems.
