Schlinsog, Martha (21 May 1892 – 30 June 1967

Funeral serices were conducted for Mrs. Albert Schlinsog, 75, Granton who pass away early Sunday morning at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.

Services were held at Zion Lutheran Church on Tuesday afternoon, August, with the Rev. T. P. Brandtke, Marshfield officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ed Schlinsog, Walter Schlinsog, Richard Hillert, Ray Nickel, Arno Guk and Allen Reisner.

Miss Elsie Garbisch and Miss Janet Garbisch accompanied by Miss Leland Garbisch sang,“Just As I Am” and “What A Friend We Have In Jesus.”

The former Martha Schaller was born May 21, 1892, at Boyd and was educated there. Later the family moved to Granton where she was married on November 12, 1914 to Albert Schlinsog. They operated a farm south of Granton until retirement.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid, Lutheran Missionary League and the South Grant Sewing Club.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Allan (Lydia) Montgomery, a son, Paul Schlinsog; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mrs. Harry (Elsie) Beilke.
