Dumke, Dennis G. (23 APR 1957 - 21 FEB 2014)

Dennis G. Dumke, age 56, of Owen, died as the result of an automobile accident on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014.

A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Pastor Bruce Jahnke will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 3 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Dennis was born on April 23, 1957, in Stanley, the son of Clarence and Delores (Dulek) Dumke Sr. He graduated from Owen-Withee High School in 1975. Dennis worked in Menomonie as foreman for Master Industries/Packaging for 35 years.

He liked to shoot pool, throw darts, and take power naps. Dennis also liked to have fun and make people happy. His pride and joy were his family; he loved to spend time with his grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Dennis is survived by his children, Jeremiah “Jay” Dumke of Bellevue, Neb., and Joan (Gary) Mann of Abbotsford; three grandchildren, Harlee, Scott and Kaiden; his mother, Delores Dumke of Owen; two brothers, Clarence (Janice) Dumke Jr. of Oshkosh and Larry Dumke of Owen; and a niece, Pamela Dumke of Oshkosh.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Sr.; and his sister, Darlene Schreiner.
