Johnson, Olga, 10 Aug 1894 – 27 Oct 1967

Services were held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Greenwood, onTuesday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Sigward (Olga) Johnson, age 73, who passed away at 6aaaaaaaaaaaaa;45 p.m. at her home on Friday, October 27. Death was due to a heart attack.

The Rev. Arvid Myhewold officiated and burial was made in the Greenwood cemetery. The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers were all nephews. Howard Hallowell, Dale Johnson, Ward Hebert, Leonard Gustafson, Vern Catlin and Dale Jolivette.

Mrs. Don Warner was the organist and Pastor and Mrs. Arvid Myhrwold sang “Abide With Me.” The congregation sang “OhHappy Day When We Shall Strand.”

The former Olga Johnson was born August 10, 1894 in the town of Warner. She received her education at the Christopherson School and then worked in Benton Harbor, Michigan, July 16, 1918 she married Sigward Johnson, in town of Warner, who still survives. After their marriage the couple lived on a farm in the town of Unity and four years age moved to the city of Loyal.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Greenwood.

She is survived by three sons, Edward, Spencer; Raymond and Calvin, Loyal; and a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Ila) Felton; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren; a brother, Leonard Johnson, Greenwood.

She was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.
