Granton (1972)

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero visited Sunday afternoon with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Jennie Porath, at Memorial Home. That evening, the Feros called on her other sister-in-law, Mrs. Lily Porath, at Lynn.

Ollie Poler returned home recently after a week’s stay in Memorial Hospital. He is continuing his recovery at home.

Fidelity Camp No. 6375, R. N. A., met last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Myrtie Davis. Installation of officers was held despite the fact that a threatening snowstorm kept many members from attending.

Miss Elaine Trimberger of Menasha spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Trimberger. The Trimberger’s son and daughter-in-law, The Rev. and Mrs. Dale Trimberger and son, Joel, of Poysippi, were expected to be overnight guests Tuesday at the Trimberger home.

Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Henninger were her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johanknecht of Waupaca. The two couples visited Saturday with the ladies’ brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bender, and spent Sunday afternoon and were supper guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Elmhorst at Snyder’s Lake.

Mrs. Lloyd Spry was released Sunday from St. Joseph’s Hospital where she was a surgical patient. Mrs. Spry will spend some time at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson and family, at Wild Rose.
