Bleck, Allen "Ribs" T. (8 NOV 1947 - 21 MAR 2014)

Allen "Ribs" T. Bleck, 66, Phillips, died with his family by his side on Friday, March 21 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, where he had been a patient the past week.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment of his cremated remains will take place at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Stetsonville at a later date.

Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

Allen Bleck was born on November 8, 1947 in Medford to the late Gerald E. and Rose Marie (Bartz) Bleck. He attended Prentice area schools.

He marrried Carol Worden and they later divorced.

He drove truck for Granberg Brothers of Prentice, and also worked for Lissner's Nursery of Jackson. He lived most of his life in Prentice and recently in Phillips.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hanging out with Curly, gardening and mowing lawn.

He is survived by two daughters, Patti (Jeff) Litvinoff of Kennan and Tammie (Russell) Revie of Phillips; four siblings, Geraldine (John) Poncek and Janice (Allan) Niemi, both of Westboro, and Judy (Fred) Heizler and Daniel "Curly" (Tammy) Bleck, both of Phillips; five grandchildren; two great-grandsons; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to his family to be designated at a later date.
