Joe Yartz passed away Sunday evening after a long illness. Mrs. Yartz and Stanley Rajk have our heartfelt sympathy.

Dr. Olson was called out to see Freddie Bar Sunday, who was quite sick with stomach trouble.

Mrs. Chas. Bostwick, Miss Drescher, Joe Ozanich Jr., Mike Podobnik Jr., and Geo. Gemmeke called on Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Vivoda Saturday evening.

Frank Arch called at F. Parkel's Sunday p.m.

Eva Hatton spent several days and New Year's with Lila Prock at Globe.

Mrs. F. Parkel cooked for the sawyers for Louis Arch Monday.

Geo. Vivoda called on the home folks Monday.

Mrs. Al Flagg and Mrs. Geo. Vivorda called on Mrs. C. Hatton Monday.

Miss Iola Gemmeke visited the J.S. School Thursday and spent the evening with Miss Drescher at the Chas. Bostwick home.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kocher spent Thursday at E. Hatton's.

Joe Celesnik spent several days last week with mrs. F. Barr while his mother was at the Neillsville hospital to visit Mr. Celesnik who is a patient there.

Vilas Emberson was busy sawing wood for some of the W.E. and J.S. farmers last week.

Louis Arch was a business caller at A. Dunn's Saturday.

Mrs. Chas. Bostwick and Miss Drescher spent Sunday p.m. with Mrs. Al Flagg.

Gus Hagen of globe was a caller in this vicinity Sunday.
