Mrs. A.C. Buker and Mrs. Howard Stilwell were at Marshfield Monday.

Ben Picus of Loyal transacted business here Monday.

George Speich returned home from Milwaukee yesterday with a few Ford car.

Miss Anna Rellis, teacher at Maple Center School, visited here with her brother, Billie Rellis Saturday.

Wm. Corbin returned home from Milwaukee Monday where he had been for several days.

Miss Florence Etta of Loyal was an over Sunday visitor here at the Harold Stabnow home.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Amidon of Granton spent Sunday here at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. J.R. Thomas.

There will be a dance at the Will Syth barn, Saturday evening, April 28th. Good music furnished. Attend the opening dance of the season.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Merkel entertained a number of friends at a six o'clock dinner at their home Sunday evening.

A large potato warehouse in the village of Humbird was completely destroyed by fire Saturday morning.

Mrs. Geneva Clute and son returned home from Wausau Tuesday where she spent several weeks at the Dale Varney home.

A number of ladies had a party on Mrs. Joe Brauneis Saturday afternoon. Those present all report a very enjoyable time.

Charles Barr and Durward Schwarze were at Owen Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Hasting Baird and little daughter spent Sunday with relatives at Loyal.

Mrs. C.H. Clute will entertain the suffragettes at her home this evening.

Free Carleton of Neillsville was a caller at the A.C. Barr home Wednesday.

The Misses Elsie Shupe and Marcella Thums of Loyal spent the weekend at the Hating Baird home.

J.H. Etta of Loyal spent the latter part of the week here at the Harold Stabnow home.

Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cronin, who have been spending the winter at Wausau, left Tuesday for North Dakota where Jay will play ball during the summer.
