The Rev. Roland Roehrs, pastor of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chili, officiated at the 7:30 p.m. candlelight ceremony in which Miss Jacqueline Butterbrodt and Alan Main were united in marriage on Saturday, August 24.

Parents of the couple are Mrs. Marvelene Duge Butterbrodt, Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Main, Independence, Iowa.

The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Louis W. Duge, Fairchild. Mrs. Kenneth Voss, Loyal, was the organist and Robert Steffen, Milwaukee, was the soloist. Candles were lighted by Michael and John Nikula of Neillsville.

The bride choose for her wedding a white Belgian linen sheath with embroidered train and a fingertip veil attached to a tiered pear lcrown. Red roses made up her cascade bouquet.

Mrs. William Olson, Webster City, Iowa, matron of honor and Miss Carla Duge, Fairchild and Miss Kristin Lieske, Loyal, were the bridesmaids. Each were seen in short white Belgian linen frocks and white halo veils held to deep rose bows. Each carried red duchess roses.

Heidi Heim, Chili, was the flower girl and john Olson, Webster City, Iowa, was the ring bearer.

John A. Butterbrodt, Stevens Point, served as best man and Donald Main, Independence, Iowa and Alan Anderson, Carver, Minnesota were groomsmen. John and Wilbur Main, Independence, Iowa, and Michael Lindow, Chili did the ushering.

The wedding reception was held at the Hotel Chrles in Marshfield. Miss Peggy O'Brien, Rice Lake, was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Wilbur Main and Mrs. John Main, Independence, Iowa served the wedding cake and Mrs. Wilbur Kehrberg, Loyal and Miss Alma Happe, Chili poured coffee. Miss Carmen Duge, Fairchild and Miss Colleen Houlihan, Stevens Point served the punch.

Mr. and Mrs. Main are on a honeymoon in Wisconsin and later will make their home in Menomonie where they are both students at Stout State University. They plan to be among the 1969 graduates.
