Granton (29 June 1972)

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schlinsog and grandchildren, Scott, and Londa Schlinsog, attended a family picnic recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Horn at Pittsville. Also present were Mrs. Tony Bezlyk and children of Chili, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. William Rohloff and Mrs. Ted Boe of Spencer, Mrs. Andy Balciar of Marshfield and Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Floyd of Loyal.

Visitors Sunday at the Ray Nowack home were Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Stettler of Marshfield. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Barth and family called there that evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Elwyn Larson of Janesville drove to Granton to pick up her mother, Mrs. Elda Bartz, who is spending some time at the Larson home.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hillert called on Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sternitzky Sunday evening.

Mrs. Margaret Goebel flew from Marshfield to Toronto, Canada, to spend an eight-day vacation with her daughter and son-in-law. She returned home last week.

Mrs. Ray Ayala and son, Nick of Chicago, Il, came to spend a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero.

Mrs. Arnold Garbisch and Mrs. Elda Bartz visited at the Ray Novak home Friday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bass visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Krause.

Stanley Canfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Canfield, Kirk Garbisch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Garbisch, and Clifford Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Johnson, returned home Monday from a month’s trip through the western states and parts of Canada. In Oklahoma, they visited the Roy Johnson family, former area residents.
