Weinberger, David (7 JUL 1892 - 5 NOV 1966)

Services were held at the Thorp Funeral Home Tuesday, Nov. 8 for david Weinberger who died Saturday evening, Nov. 5th, 1966, at the Stanley Memorial Hospital. The Rev. Robert Olson officiated and burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wilfred Vanderhyden, Harry Quelle, Emmett Frese, Tony Schultze, Fred Hedler, Emery Siedel.

Jim Cesar of Milwaukee accompanied at the organ while Mrs. L. P. Christopherson sang "Some Day We'll Understand: and "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere."

David was born July 7, 1892 in Schultze, Russia. He arrived in the United States at the age of 7 years. He lived in Sheboygan until 1911, when he arrived in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

April 7, 1915 he was married to the former Hazel Alger, who survives with the three children, Wm. Weinberger of Withee, (Doris) Mrs. Richard Mattes of Milwaukee, (Beatrice) Mrs. Gordon Thorson of Owen, two grandchildren, Mrs. Jack Jalling of Owen and David Mattes of Whitewater, and two great-grandchildren, Scott and Ricky Jalling of Owen, one sister, Mrs. John Holzwart of Sheboygan and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers and three sisters.

Relatives and friends attending the funeral were from Milwaukee, Eau Claire, Antigo, Sheboygan, Stanley, Owen, Withee, Neillsville, Ladysmith, Holcombe, St. Paul, Lodi, Granton, Athens.
