Funeral services for Eldon Everet Denzin, 44, route 1, Dorchester, were held Tuesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran church, Dorchester.  The Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated and burial was in the Dorchester Memorial cemetery.

Mr. Denzin died Saturday afternoon, Jan. 8, of a heart attack.

Born Jan 4, 1922 at Mukwonago, Mr. Denzin came to the town of Holton, where he received his education.  His marriage to Bernice Hoffman took place Nov. 6, 1943, at Bethlehem Lutheran church, Milan.  Following their marriage, Mr. Denzin was employed on his father’s farm.  He was later employed for several years at Marshfield.  After returning to the Dorchester area, he farmed in the town of Mayville.  He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran church at Dorchester.

Surviving are his wife, one son, Bruce, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Denzin Sr., Phillips; a brother, William Jr., Athens; three sisters, Mrs. Vern (Delores) Wittlinger and Mrs. Vernon (Elaine) Underwood, Abbotsford, and Mrs. Wilmer (Evelyn) Bunkelman, Stetsonville.
