Mrs. Frank Ferris has been very sick with pneumonia and pleurisy at this writing she is better again.

Mrs. Forest Rowe went to Neillsville Friday to spend a week with her parents.

Abe VandeBerg delivered a load of hogs to Neillsville Monday and J. VandeBerg a calf.

Earl Lawrence and wife made a trip to Neillsville Wednesday and brought home a load of new furniture.

The ladies aid at Mrs. Pease’s was quite well attended, proceeds were $1.20.

Horace Lawrence and family are moving into the Free boys’ house formerly occupied by Mr. Bahl and family. Mr. Bahl has purchased an 80 acre farm up near Willard from Richard Free and will move there in the near future.

Melvin Lawrence and Abie Turner are siding Merle Benedict’s house.

E.M. Schoenfeld and Mabel Turner spent Sunday at Allie Turner’s.

Last Wednesday evening Mrs. Edna Lawrence’s work shop accidently caught fire and burned to the ground.  Nothing was saved except Wm. L’s motor cycle.  It was quite a loss as there were a lot of tools in it.
