Zepplin, Andrea Faye (Marriage - 9 September 1972)

Miss Andrea Faye Zepplin became the bride of David Adam Iwanski Saturday afternoon, September 9, in Zion United Methodist Church in Marshfield. Officiating at the double-ring ceremony were the Rev. Carlson of the Loyal United Methodist Church and Rev. James Patrick McNamee of Milwaukee. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Zepplin of Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Adam Iwanski of Wisconsin Rapids are the couple’s parents.

For her marriage, the bride chose a white, empire-waist gown fashioned with a small, stand-up collar, long sleeves and a chapel train. A deep ruffle encircled the hemline. Her shoulder-length veil was caught by a white cap. She carried a ribbon-trimmed basket of white daisies and carnations with purple and yellow accents as she was given in marriage by her parents.

Alana Olsen of Abilene, Tex., gowned in yellow, was her sister’s honor attendant. Bridesmaids in lavender were Linda Jensen of Clintonville and Ruth Ann Iwanski of Racine. Their full-length gowns, styled with scoop necklines, puff sleeves and ruffled hemlines, were complimented by baskets of matching-hued daisies.

Edward Knutson, Wisconsin Rapids, served as bestman. Groomsmen were Steve Schmidt, Wausau, and Robert News, Wisconsin Rapids. Ushering duties were shared by Chris Sheriff, Merrill, and James Krusel, Wausau. Mrs. Charles Roehrborn was the organist.

A small reception at the church immediately after the ceremony was followed by a dinner in the Fellowship Hall of the Loyal United Methodist Church.

The bride attended the university of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and North Central Technical Institute. Her husband, a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda fraternity, received a degree in residential design from the latter school.

After a wedding trip to southern Wisconsin, the couple will move to Arizona where both will be employed.
