Mrs. Mary Kornesczuk and son John left Saturday evening for Lake Geneva to visit relatives, and will return Monday evening.

Mrs. Herman Doege and daughter Grace of Greenwood were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Max Siemek.

Mr. and Mrs. Aloys Wilcenski and Mrs. Victoria Wilcenski attended a bridal shower Sunday afternoon at the Hermiss Schmidt home in Thorp, in honor of Judy Milligan and the wedding will take place July 2nd at St. Hedwig's Church in Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fellenz, West Allis, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nagorny and daughter Jean of Chicago are spending a few days visiting relatives and friends. While here, they are staying at the Pat Savasta home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Anderson of Hannibal were Sunday afternoon and supper guests at the home of his mother, Mrs. Frank Popple.

Mr. and Mrs. Keith Clark and family of Waukesha spent the weekend at their parental homes, the Lowell Hartzell's and Alva Clark's at Hannibal.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Glidden of Polley were Tuesday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Knapp.

Mr. and Mrs. John McKowen of Minneapolis were Saturday visitors at the Jerry O'Connell home. Henry O'Connell accompanied them here and will make his home for the summer with his son Jerry and wife.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gay attended the K.C. dinner at Juneau Hall at thorp on Sunday.

Ed Schultz returned home Saturday from Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley. He had been a patient there for several weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Hartzell were vacationing in northern Wisconsin over the weekend.

Tony Kliscz and John Kondrasuk returned home Saturday afternoon after taking the Taylor County Teachers College students on a tour.

Jan Kruz of Chicago was on overnight guests at the Max Siemek home. Eileen Siemek accompanied her to Chicago Sunday, where she will seek employment.

There will be services at Zion Evangelical. Lutheran Church Sunday at one thirty p.m. in Gilman. Rev. Robert Olson of Thorp will be the pastor.
