Chili (21 Sep 1916)

R.A. Adams of Rockford, Ill., was at Chili Monday looking over some farm land.

Wenzel Zias and wife of Boyd were over Sunday visitors at the Martin Zias home. Mrs. Wenzel Zias has just returned from the hospital at Marshfield and is on her way home.

Fred Dankemeyer has returned home from North Dakota, where he was employed in the harvest fields.

Mr. and Mrs. John Schmall left for Kaukauna, having received the sad news that their brother-in-law was drowned.

Jack Melamphy is visiting relatives at Neillsville this week.

Mr. Ebert of Sheboygan is visiting his son, Rude Ebert.

Mr. Belkin of Illinois is visiting at his brother-in-law, Mr. Whittem’s.

Henry Johnson of Little Schute was an over Sunday visitor at his brother, Math Johnson’s. He was accompanied by Aug. Weindrow of Appleton.

Mrs. Donnebauer went to Marshfield Monday where she is taking treatments of Dr. Milbee.

Miss Tillie Reinmund is assisting Mrs. Epp with her housework.

Contractor Ike Rogers, with Manager Ernest Neinas, are getting along nicely with the cement walk for H. Degener.

Miss Gladys Henning is attending high school at Marshfield.

Fred Dilk, who was in bed with a broken ankle for a few weeks, is able to sit up again. His many friends will be pleased to see him about once more.
