Alex Scharenbrock helped Pete Kutz with his work Wednesday and Thursday.

Edna Hinkr spent the past week at the Lawrence Kitzhaber home, while Mrs. Kitzhaber was helping take care of her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Stiefvater, and new grandson.

Ruby Afkind was absent from school the past week with a bad cold.

Several from this way attended the Farmers Union card party Friday evening.

Anna Mathison called on Mrs. Afkind Thursday.

Peter Kutz attended the Farmers Union Convention held at Marshfield Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Bushman and family spent Sunday with Ernest Dittner and family in Greenwood.

Ed Hinker called on Peter Kutz Wednesday evening.

Lloyd Manning, who is staying with the Madwick family, worked for Ernest Vollrath the past week.

Mrs. And Mrs. Sylvester Hinker called on home solks Tuesday evening.

Erhard Lindner, Mrs. Jos. Schmidt and daughter Josephine, Evely and Genevieve Pabich attended a car party at the John Bertz home at Loyal Thursday evening.

Sigred Jensen called on friends at Spokeville Sunday.

John Gisse brought a load of machinery up from Norwalk last week for his new farm.
