Dale Rolland, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Frane of route 2, Colby, was born prematurely at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, Sunday, July 3. He weighed three pounds 15 ounces and has been placed in an incubator. The Franes have another son, Douglas.

Mrs. Lila Frane of Colby and Rolland Gasch of route 1, Abbotsford, are the grand parents. Mrs. Mae Gasch of Conneaut, Ohio, is the maternal great grand mother, and Mrs. Mabel Hardrath, now of Happy Camp, Calif., and Victor Frane of Birnamwood are the paternal great grand mother and great grand father.

The Rev. Ronald Goetsch of Immanuel Lutheran church of Marshfield administered emergency baptism at the hospital and Mr. and Mrs. Francis Melvin of Abbotsford were the sponsors by proxy.
