Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Kollath, whose marriage took place August 6, have returned from a honeymoon trip to northern Wisconsin and Michigan and are now making their home at 308-A W. Arnold St., Marshfield.

Mr. Kollath is a tool and die maker and is employed at All Metal Stamping, Abbotsford. His bride is employed by the Marshfield Electric and Water Department.

The wedding ceremony which united Jerry Kollath of Abbotsford, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kollath of Merrill, and Donna Jane Schmidt of Marshfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter B. Mews Sr. of Junction City, took place at Immanuel Lutheran church, Marshfield with the groom’s uncle, the Rev. Ronald W. Goetsch, officiating.

Mrs. Goetsch was organist during the 7 o’clock ceremony which took place before the altar adorned with yellow and white chrysanthemums and lighted candles. The wedding guests sang “Abide With Me”.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a coral shantung with a bone colored street length lace jacketed dress of lace overskirt and short veil and accessories in the bone hue. She carried a coral nosegay of zorina roses surrounded by salal leaves.

Mrs. Walter A. Mews of Marshfield, a sister-in-law of the bride, and William Kollath of Merrill, a brother of the groom were the attendants.

Mrs. Mews wore a street length dress of green shantung with bone accessories. She carried a nose gay of white daisies.

Jerry Mews of Junction City, a brother of the bride, and David Radtke of Merrill, a cousin of the groom, seated the guests who came for the occasion from Junction City, Stevens Point, Stanley, Merrill, Manitowoc, Spencer, Eagle, Sturtevant, Franksville, Wausau, Marshfield, Abbotsford and Dorchester.

Following the ceremony, a wedding reception and dance were held at the Abbotsford city hall.
