Huebner, Darlene M. (6 March 1934 - 3 August 2014)

Darlene M. Huebner, 80, of Black River Falls passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at Family Heritage Care Center, Black River Falls.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton. Burial will follow in Mentor Cemetery, Humbird. Family and friends are invited for visitation Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton. Family and friends are also invited for visitation Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Jensen-Modjeski Funeral home of Hixton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Darlene M. Huebner, 80, of Black River Falls passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at Family Heritage Care Center, Black River Falls. She was born March 6, 1934, in Sparta to Albert and Clara (Anderson) Van Kirk. At the age of four, Darlene and her family moved to Humbird. She was united in marriage to Dale E. Huebner in Neillsville and together the couple moved to the Racine area for about 12 years before returning to Humbird.

Darlene worked part-time for Edlen Cranberry Company of Humbird. She enjoyed gardening and being a mom and grandma.

Darlene is survived by her children Bruce (Julie) Huebner of Del Mar, CA, Diane (Joey) Blinston of Sparta and Kathy Huebner of Sparta; four grandchildren, Seth (Holly) Huebner, Tyler (Erica) Huebner, Hilary (Tim) Mickelson and Dale Blinston; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Michelson, Ryan Huebner and Emily Huebner; a brother, Calvin (Ramona) Van Kirk of Milton; sisters Virginia Johnson of Elkhorn, and Barbara Sweinhart of Pottstown, PA; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, August 2013; parents Albert and Clara; sisters Viola and Jeanette; and brothers Warren and Dewitt.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at 11:30 a. m. at Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton. Burial followed in Mentor Cemetery, Humbird.
