Heiman, Virginia M. "Toots" (27 FEB 1944 - 27 SEP 2014)

Virginia Mae “Toots” Heiman, 70, Stanley, died on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at her home under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Church of the Brethren-Stanley with Laurie Natzke officiating. Visitation will be from noon until time of service at the church.

Virginia Heiman was born on Feb. 27, 1944, the daughter of Elmer and Mildred (nee Frenzel) Heiman. Toots grew up in the Marshall area and attended area schools. She farmed and was a CNA for nursing homes in the area. Toots held her family close to her heart. Family meant the world to her. She also enjoyed going to the casino and Savers.

She is survived by four children, Danny Bunnell, Lublin, David Bunnell, California, Donny (Sue) Bunnell, Boyd, and Marie Brecht, Greenwood; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jim (Jo Lee) Heiman, Marshall, Larry Heiman, Marshall, and Melvin Heiman, Florida; and her special friend, Denny Wall.

 Toots was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Dianna Kruckeberg; two grandchildren, Seth James Pulvermacher and Ashley Marie “Poopers” Bunnell; and a brother, Robert “Whitey” Heiman.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Sue Bunnell for giving Toots the loving care she needed.

Plombon Funeral Service, Stanley, is assisting the family with arrangements
