Zelasko, Alice (16 April 1942 - 4 October 2014)

Alice Zelasko, 72, of Clintonville passed away peacefully at home Oct. 4, 2014, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Alice was born April 16, 1942, in the Town of Grant, Clark County, the daughter of the late Joseph Jr. and Mildred (Strebing) Struensee. She was married to Ronald Thomas Zelasko Aug. 10, 1961, in Chicago, IL. Alice and Ronald lived her life in Glenview, IL, until her husband, a sergeant at the Glenview Police Department, passed away March 20, 1986. He nest journey in life led her to move to Henderson, NV, to be closer to her son Ronald. After Alice decided Nevada was too hot for her, she decided to move closer to her family and birthplace at Neillsville, so she settled in Clintonville where she has spent the last 14-plus years of her life. Her life in Clintonville led her to find a loving companion, Roger Bricco, whom she lost in July 2013 to Cancer.

Alice is survived by a son, Ronald of Clintonville; brothers, Robert, Warren (Mary Jane), Darrel and Floyd (Carol) Struensee, all of Neillsville; sisters, Shirley Bryan of Tullahoma, TN, and Carol (Jim) Kasun of Cedarburg; step-brother Jerome Schreader of Florida; and step-sister, Geraldine Flegner of Sussex; sisters-in-law, Erdine Payne and Lois Struensee of Neillsville; many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband and parents; brothers, Dale and Richard Struensee; nephews, Joey, Donald and Scott Struensee and Harry Rosinski Jr.; step brothers, Harvey, Donald and James Schreader; Step-mother Evelyn (Zuehlke) (Schreader) Struensee.

Services will be held Oct. 26, at 1:30 p.m. at the Dells Dam Cemetery, Town of Levis, Clark Ave. off of STH 95 South, Neillsville. Fellowship will follow the service. Simply Cremation, Green Bay, assisted the family with arrangements.
