William H. Kleiman, 91, died at his home at 505 N. Second, Abbotsford, Thursday, May 18, at 6:45 a.m. The body lay in state at the Polnaszek Funeral Home until noon Saturday when it was taken to Christ Lutheran church, Abbotsford. During the 2 o’clock services conducted by the Rev. F. H. Sprengler, two hymns were sung by Paul Nixdorf, “The Lord Is My Shepherd”, and “I Am But a Stranger Here”. Mrs. Charles Plautz was organist and accompanist.

The pallbearers for the interment which was made in the town of Holton cemetery were Donald Kalepp, Edward Kramer, Howard Kramer, Chester Jacobi, Ervin Jacobi and Francis Melvin.

Mr. Kleiman was born June 2, 1875, in the town of Holton, Marathon county and received his education there. He and Miss Ida Hoeft were married in Dorchester July 28, 1901, and lived on a farm in the township until 1945 when they retired and moved to Abbotsford Mrs. Kleiman died in 1962.

He is survived by four daughters; Mrs. Carl (Callie) Gosse, Mrs. Daisy Laack and Mrs. Leo (Lillian) Underwood, all of Abbotsford, and Mrs. Gilbert (Bessie) Haless of Chicago. There are 12 grand children, 21 great grand children and one great great grand child.

Besides his wife he was preceded in death by a daughter, three sisters and a brother.
