Bolf, Linda Kay (Marriage - 14 July 1973)

Wedding vows were pledged Saturday, July 14, at the United Church of Christ by Miss Linda Kay Bolf and Dennis Dewey Walker. The Rev. Gary Clark officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony which united the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bolf of Rt. 3 Greenwood, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Walker of Neillsville.

The bride’s gown of sheer organza and reembroidered lace was styled with an empire bodice accented by a sheer yoke, high neckline and full bishop sleeves. The semi-full skirt swept into a cathedral train. A lace headpiece complimented the gown. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink carnations, red roses, stephanotis and baby’s breath as she was presented in marriage by her father.

Bridal attendants were Miss Carol Scheuerman of Chicago, Il., as maid of honor and Mrs. Theresa Bolf of Greenwood, Mis Nancy Bauer and Miss Diane Walker of Neillsville as bridesmaids. Their pink floral gowns were complimented by wide-brimmed pink hats. Natural wicker baskets held arrangements of Pink carnations, white mums and baby’s breath.

Wayne Ziegler, Willard, served as bestman. Groomsmen were Dennis Bolf of Greenwood, Butch Walker of Osseo and Donald Walker of Neillsville. Roger Bolf and Tim Weisman acted as ushers.

Soloist at the wedding was Gary Schultz. Mrs. Gary Schultz was the organist.

A reception and dinner at the Neillsville American Legion Hall was followed in the evening by a wedding dance at the Silver Dome.

The bride and groom are 1971 graduates, respectively of Greenwood and Neillsville High Schools. She has been employed by a Thorp corporation, and he is employed by a Neillsville firm.

Following their return from a wedding trip to Michigan, the newlyweds will live in Neillsville.
