Beisner, Dorothy Belle (Hemminger) (17 JUN 1921 - 9 DEC 2014)

Dorothy Belle Beisner, a longtime resident of Clark County, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at the Colonial Center in Colby at the age of 93 years.

Dorothy was born June 17, 1921, in Withee, the daughter of John and Marian (Hamme) Hemminger.

Dorothy is survived by son, Kim (Sharon) Beisner of Dorchester, and grandsons, Kevin and Casey; son, Brice (Helen) Beisner of Longwood, Fla., and granddaughter, Michelle (Larry); son, Brent (Gerri) Bower of Hilbert, and granddaughters, Gina (Eric) and Stacey (Christopher); and great-grandchildren, Megan, Julian and Carson, Jaime (Pete), Madeline and Olivia.

A son, Bruce (Dori) Bower of Winter Springs, Fla., preceded her in death in 2000, along with three sisters, Florence (Robert) Baxter, Adele (Ralph) Baxter, Harriet (Donald) Thorne; and one brother, Earl Hemminger.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Inurnment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Withee. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
