At the regular meeting of the Eastern Star held at the Chapter rooms Tuesday evening, Dec. 26, 1939, a Christmas party and installation of officers was held. The rooms were decorated for the occasion with a Christmas tree and all. Gifts were exchanged and a few selections were played by the following members of the high school band: Elsie Steiger, Beverly Haeuser, Austin Mlada and Norbert Jolivette.

The following are the officers for the coming year:

• Worthy Matron – Anny Arbs
• Worth Patron – Orlando Amundson
• Associate Matron – Beatrice Clayton
• Associate Patron – Gene Mlada
• Secretary – Irma Enockson
• Treasurer – Lina Mlada
• Conductress – Esther Stabnow
• Associate Conductress – Blanch Luther
• Chaplain – Maud Huntzicker
• Marshall – Alma Steiger
• Organist – Mabel Bishop
• Ada – Maude Carter
• Ruth – Corrine Olson
• Esther – Margaret Armstrong
• Martha – Olga Amundson
• Electa – Nelda Dyre
• Warder – Elizabeth Kenyon
• Sentinel – Florence Jolivette

All the above officers were installed, but the secretary, chaplain, Ruth, Esther, Electa and Warder. They will be installed at a later meeting.

A delicious lunch was served.

The outgoing Worth Matron, Alma Haeuser, presented her officers with a narcisus.
